jw's are always in some business venture of one sort or another.
i knew of some in the congregation that didn't do business with brothers and sisters because they'd gotten burnt too many times.
i knew of others that felt obliged to buy something from fellow witnesses, especially elders.
Well I've gotten busy with a brother but I never felt obligated to exchange money.
My dad was burned twice and gave up business with brothers from then on. He didn't care if a brother was half price he wanted nothing to do with them. He said all to often they hide behide the "can't sue a brother" issue.

I have several male friends of which I am certain of only one that wouldn't sleep with me. He's gay and way gay at that.
I like having male friends but I know there will always be some sexual tension. Same applies to my lesbian friends. I'm bi and there are a couple of my straight female friends that I've had a little fantasy about too but I respect them enough to keep it from showing. I don't think that's so bad.
So Xena I think it's possible but since I don't have a SO I'm not certain how I'd handle their jealousy. I suppose I'd be on the market for a new SO.

George reminds me of a friend of mine. She has that monotone voice and is also sort of negative about stuff but in a really funny way.
.Yes it's on Showtime and the new show is on friday nights but it plays again on saturday and sunday evenings.
The HBO show I like is the sopranos but I have no idea if they are going to do anymore new episodes or not.

Yeah that's pretty silly. She wants to sell records. Who knows what anyone says behind closed doors but she isn't dumb enough to say such a thing publicly.

well, i've got a situation that has me going in circles.
it's something i'm also talking about with the realtime women friends in my life, and they've been just great, but there is also huge resource of fabulous women here on jwd that will know about that other intangible aspect of our x-jw involvement and how it affects people, relationships and families, that the women i know will never quite grasp.. it is not, however, something i choose to discuss here.

I'll offer you some public advice since you asked. First of all you're a bit thin skinned and your very negative response to the first female to reply says a lot about why you'd want some help. Then you justify your nasty response.

what's the worst thing you did as a jw?.......for me, it was to help other persons come to love the "organization".
My parents were on the way out by the time I became a teen. They stayed in longer than they wanted to keep friends. Sooooo I did lots of worst things. My saving grace was that I was just an unbaptized publisher. Got the public reproof once too. That really got the boys interested in me.
I would say the worst I did was a series of naughty little things that worldly kids do without a second thought.
But I like the no panties thing, if I'd thought of that it would have made my list of to do things.

Yep had married brothers hit on me but never at assembly.
Most of the teenagers I know would spend as much time cruising the corridors as listening to talks. If I couldn't cruise I wouldn't have even gone.
